Chevrolet Corvette Rental in Calgary

American sports-car icon. Self-drive across Calgary or through the Rockies. Book it for the birthday that deserves more than dinner, the engagement shoot that needs a hero car, or the bucket-list drive to Banff.

The Corvette is not the wedding car. It's the birthday-gift car. The engagement-shoot car. The “I've wanted to drive one since I was twelve” car. It's the vehicle you rent for a single day because you finally have the excuse.

The Foreigns operates the Chevrolet Corvette for sports car rental in Calgary — self-drive for confident drivers who want the experience of the wheel, or chauffeured delivery to your photo shoot location if the car is the prop and not the point.

Best For

The Occasions the Corvette Is Made For

Milestone Birthdays

Thirtieth. Fortieth. Fiftieth. The birthday that needs to feel like the year it actually is. Book the Corvette for the day, hand over the keys, and let the recipient drive it wherever they want.

Bucket-List Drives

The Highway 1 drive from Calgary to Banff, Kananaskis, or the Icefields Parkway. Multi-day rentals include the mileage. Popular with drivers who've waited a long time for the right car and the right road.

Engagement Photo Shoots

The Corvette is a hero car for photography. We deliver it to your photographer's location, stays for the shoot, we collect afterward. Ideal for engagement sessions, save-the-dates, and second-day wedding photography.

Anniversary Surprises

The car shows up in the driveway with a bow on it. You have it for the weekend. Drive somewhere memorable. Return with photos.

Corporate Client Perks

Reward the top salesperson, celebrate a closed deal, or hand the keys to a visiting VIP for the weekend. A memorable gesture that costs less than most executive dinners.

The Reward Purchase

You've been thinking about buying one. Try it first — self-drive for a day or a weekend before you commit six figures at the dealership.

The Drive

Where to Take It

The Corvette rewards the drives that Alberta happens to be perfect for. Highway 1 west from Calgary to Banff is the obvious one — open, well-paved, mountains in the windshield the whole way. Highway 40 south into Kananaskis handles the twists. If you have a full day, the Icefields Parkway from Lake Louise to Jasper is one of the best drives on the continent.

For a shorter session, the Cochrane loop through Bragg Creek and back through the foothills is under three hours and feels like a small road trip. Add the removable targa roof off (weather permitting) and it starts feeling like a specific memory.

Note on winter and shoulder-season rentals: The Corvette is rear-wheel drive with a low ride height — not the vehicle for icy roads or heavy snow. For winter rentals we'll proactively recommend the Cadillac Escalade Sport Platinum from our fleet instead (all-wheel drive, mountain-ready).

Self-Drive Requirements

What You Need to Book Self-Drive

Age 25 or older

Standard for all self-drive rentals in our fleet. Younger drivers can still enjoy the Corvette as a passenger via a chauffeured photo-shoot booking.

Valid Class 5 licence

Alberta Class 5 or equivalent from another Canadian province, US state, or an eligible international jurisdiction. Bring the physical licence at pickup.

Clean driving record

We verify driving history at booking. Recent major violations disqualify the booking; a clean record is required for insurance eligibility.

Refundable damage deposit

Held during the rental and released after vehicle inspection on return. Amount depends on rental length; quoted at booking.

FAQ

Corvette Rental, Answered

How much does it cost to rent a Corvette in Calgary?

Depends on rental length (single-day vs multi-day), day of week, and whether it's self-drive or a delivery-only photo-shoot booking. Multi-day rentals include a discount on the daily rate. Share the date and use case and we send a tailored quote within one business day.

Can I rent the Corvette self-drive?

Yes — self-drive is the primary way the Corvette is booked. Available to drivers 25 and over with a valid Class 5 licence and a clean driving record. A refundable damage deposit is held during the rental.

Is the Corvette a good gift for a milestone birthday?

It's one of the most common reasons the Corvette gets booked. Hand the recipient the keys, they drive it for the day (or the weekend), you get the photos and the story. We can coordinate a surprise drop-off at a specific location if it helps the moment.

How many people fit in the Corvette?

Two. It's a strict two-seater coupe — driver plus one passenger. For groups larger than two, pair the Corvette with another vehicle from our fleet, or consider the Cadillac Escalade if you need seven seats.

Can I take the Corvette to Banff or Kananaskis?

Yes — the Corvette is popular for the Highway 1 drive to Banff and the Highway 40 loop through Kananaskis. Multi-day bookings include the highway mileage. We recommend against off-pavement or gravel roads (the ride height and tyres aren't built for it), but any paved highway is fair game.

What's the mileage allowance?

200 km per day for self-drive, with multi-day discounts on the base rate. Additional distance is available at an overage rate, quoted upfront if you expect a longer route.

Can I take the roof off?

Yes — the Corvette has a removable targa top. We show you how it works at pickup. Weather-permitting, taking the roof off is one of the best parts of the drive.

Is the Corvette available in winter?

Technically yes, but we don't recommend it. The Corvette is rear-wheel drive with performance tyres and a low ride height — not the right vehicle for icy roads or heavy snow. For winter rentals we'd recommend the Cadillac Escalade Sport Platinum from our fleet instead. If you specifically want the Corvette in winter for a photo shoot with delivery only (no driving in snow), that's still available.

Can I rent the Corvette for a photo shoot only, without driving it?

Yes. Photo-shoot bookings are delivery-only — we bring the Corvette to your shoot location, it stays on-site for the booked window, and we collect afterward. The vehicle isn't driven during shoot bookings. Ideal for engagement sessions, real-estate marketing, brand content, and music videos.

How far in advance should I book?

For summer weekends (May through September), 4 to 6 weeks ideal. For weekday and off-season bookings, often available inside 2 weeks. Milestone-birthday self-drive bookings tend to be planned 30 to 60 days out; last-minute weekends fill fastest — book as early as you can.
