Cancellation Policy
We understand plans change. Below you’ll find our cancellation and rescheduling policy for all reservations.
Effective date: March 8, 2026
1. No Refunds
All bookings with The Foreigns are non-refundable. Once a reservation is confirmed and payment is collected, no refunds will be issued for cancellations.

2. Rescheduling Your Booking
While we do not offer refunds, we understand that plans can change. If you need to move your reservation to a different date, you may do so under the following conditions:
- You must request the change at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time
- The new date must be a future date and is subject to vehicle availability
- Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before pickup cannot be accommodated
- If the rescheduled booking results in a price difference, the difference will be charged or credited accordingly
3. How to Request a Reschedule
You can request changes to your reservation by:
- Using the Manage Reservation page at theforeigns.ca/reservations/manage with your booking number and last name
- Emailing us at info@theforeigns.ca with your booking number
- Calling us at 403-919-3525
The reschedule request must be received and confirmed at least 24 hours before your original pickup time.
4. No-Shows
If you do not show up for your reservation and have not contacted us to reschedule, the booking will be considered a no-show. No-shows are not eligible for a refund or reschedule and the full booking amount will be charged.
5. Early Returns
If you return a self-drive vehicle before the scheduled return time, the original booking rate still applies. Early returns do not qualify for partial refunds.
6. Cancellations by The Foreigns
In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel or modify a reservation due to vehicle unavailability, mechanical issues, or safety concerns. If we cancel your booking:
- You will receive a full refund of all amounts paid
- We will make every effort to offer a comparable alternative vehicle
- We will notify you as early as possible
7. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, government restrictions, pandemics, or civil disturbances. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule your booking or provide a full refund.
8. Disputes
If you have a dispute regarding your booking or this policy, please contact us within 30 days. We will review your case and respond within 5 business days.
