YYC Airport Transfer
YYC Airport Executive Transfer
Executive-grade airport transport to and from YYC Calgary International. Flight tracking, meet-and-greet, luggage handled. The way business travellers should arrive.
The flight lands. The jet bridge opens. By the time your executive clears the gate, the chauffeur is in position, luggage carousel confirmed, and the Rolls Royce or Escalade is pulled to the pickup lane. Zero waiting. Zero wondering if the car is actually coming. Zero taxi-rank anxiety.
The Foreigns operates YYC airport executive transfer service for the C-suite, visiting board directors, VC-flown-in deal teams, and anyone whose arrival at Calgary International needs to feel like a continuation of their flight, not a return to logistics.
How It Works
Arrival or Departure, Handled End-to-End
You share the flight details
Date, airline, flight number, inbound or outbound, number of passengers, pickup or drop-off address. The booking takes under a minute.
We confirm and track
You get a confirmation with the chauffeur's name and direct line. We begin tracking the flight the moment you book — delays, early arrivals, gate changes all picked up automatically.
The chauffeur is in position
For arrivals: the vehicle is at YYC before the flight lands, parked in the executive pickup lane. For departures: at your pickup address with buffer for traffic, no later than requested.
Meet-and-greet on request
Chauffeur meets at baggage claim with your executive's name on a discreet card, assists with luggage, walks to the vehicle. Standard for visiting-exec arrivals; skipped for domestic travellers who prefer to self-locate.
The ride itself
Chilled water in the vehicle. Wi-Fi hotspot on request. Charging cables. Cabin kept quiet unless the passenger initiates conversation. The chauffeur knows the fastest route to downtown, the Fairmont, your office tower, or Banff.
Routes
Where Executives Actually Go From YYC
Downtown Calgary
15–25 minutes depending on traffic. Hotel tower pickup lanes known in advance. We've done every Fairmont Palliser, Hotel Arts, Hyatt Regency, Westin, and Marriott Downtown approach.
Business Districts
Beltline, East Village, Kensington, and the energy-sector corridor along 5th Ave SW. Chauffeur knows the private-pickup lanes at the major office towers.
Banff & the Rockies
YYC to Banff: ~90 minutes via Highway 1. YYC to Canmore: ~75 minutes. YYC to Lake Louise: ~2 hours. Banff park pass included on bookings that cross the gate.
Executive Residences
West-side neighbourhoods (Mount Royal, Elbow Park), Spring Bank, Bearspaw, and the acreage communities. Discreet residential pickup.
YYC to YYC Transfers
Transiting executives between a late incoming flight and an early outbound. We hold at a nearby hotel if layover permits, otherwise airport-to-airport with no detour.
Multi-Stop Days
YYC to office, office to lunch, lunch to board meeting, board meeting back to YYC. One chauffeur, one vehicle, one invoice.
The Honest Comparison
Why Not Just Book an Uber Black?
For a cross-town run with no stakes, rideshare works fine. For an executive arriving in Calgary for a day of meetings, the gap between “a car showed up” and “the experience was handled” is substantial, and it tends to be the first thing a visiting executive remembers about the trip.
A rideshare driver you've never met is driving the car they happened to be driving today. The vehicle may or may not be clean. The driver may or may not know where the private pickup lane at your office tower is. If the flight is delayed, the driver cancels and you're back in the queue. If the executive has heavy luggage, the driver stays in the car. If the executive wants to work during the ride, the driver has the radio on.
An executive chauffeur is contracted specifically for your passenger, in a vehicle maintained to a hospitality standard, by a driver briefed in advance on the itinerary. That's the gap.
FAQ
YYC Airport Transfer, Answered
Do you track flights automatically?
Yes. Flight tracking is included on every airport booking. The moment you share the flight number, we begin monitoring it. The chauffeur is in position based on actual arrival time, not scheduled time — delays, early arrivals, and gate changes are picked up automatically.
Where does the chauffeur meet my passenger?
Default is the YYC executive pickup lane at the arrivals-level curb outside the baggage claim area. For meet-and-greet bookings, the chauffeur enters the terminal and meets at baggage claim with your passenger's name on a discreet card. Specify at booking.
What if the flight is delayed?
No action needed from you. We re-adjust automatically based on the new arrival time. The chauffeur arrives at the updated time, no overage charge for the delay.
What if the flight is cancelled?
If the cancellation is 24+ hours ahead of pickup, no charge. For same-day cancellations we charge a reduced same-day cancellation fee (billed to the account or card on file). Rebooking to a new flight is complimentary.
Do you handle multiple passengers from the same flight?
Yes. For groups of 2–4, the Rolls Royce Ghost or Bentley Flying Spur works. For 5–7 passengers (visiting board, executive team), the Cadillac Escalade Sport Platinum is the right choice. We quote by group size.
What's the price for a one-way YYC transfer?
Depends on vehicle, destination, time of day, and whether meet-and-greet is included. One-way YYC-to-downtown-Calgary in a Rolls Royce with meet-and-greet is at one end of the price range; a straightforward Escalade transfer to a Beltline hotel is at the other. Share the details and we send a tailored quote within the hour.
Do you serve YYC-to-Banff transfers?
Yes — YYC-to-Banff is one of our most-requested airport routes. ~90 minutes via Highway 1. Banff park pass included on the booking. Cadillac Escalade is the typical vehicle choice for mountain weather and luggage capacity.
Is there a corporate account option?
Yes. For firms with regular visiting-executive traffic, our corporate account structure means your authorised bookers reserve transfers with zero credit-card entry and your AP team gets one monthly invoice.
Can the chauffeur help with luggage?
Yes. Standard with meet-and-greet bookings — the chauffeur assists at baggage claim and loads the vehicle. For curbside pickups, the chauffeur steps out and loads at the curb.
How far in advance should we book?
For arriving visiting executives, 48–72 hours is typical. Same-day bookings often available subject to fleet availability. For a specific vehicle on a peak-travel date (early-morning weekday arrivals, late-Friday departures), 5–7 days is safer.
